News HomeJack Petchey Speak Out Challenge – Islington Regional Final
On 24th February, HFS hosted The Regional Final. There were 14 contestants from seven schools. This was a wonderful event and attended by lots of parents/carers and families.
Sem Moema, London Assembly Member for Islington, Hackney and Waltham Forest was one of the judges.
The Regional Final is an opportunity for everyone in the community and across the borough to come together to celebrate and build a platform for young voices. We welcome and encourage many attendees. Teachers, parents, friends and supporters make an incredible contribution to the atmosphere of the evening for all the speakers. It also gives the opportunity to recognise not just the speakers but all the hard work from parties who make a Regional Final happen.
Congratulations to Sapphire who came 3rd with her speech ‘Enough is Enough’.
We would also like to congratulate Leshare and Lucy for their contribution on their speeches.
Well done to everyone who took part in the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge, please view our gallery from the evening event.
