A level Results 2019
Highbury Fields Sixth Form are celebrating another year of exceptional A level results!
In celebrating their A level and BTEC results today, Year 13 students from Highbury Fields School are showcasing the school’s continuing reputation for academic success at every level.
With 42% of grades being awarded an A*-A or equivalent and 82% an A*-C or equivalent, students can rightly look back on their sixth form studies with pride, but more importantly can now look forward to continuing their education at some of the country’s most prestigious universities.
Students will read subjects such as aerospace engineering, biomedical science, English literature, history, law and radiography at institutions including Birmingham, Bristol, Brunel, Queen Mary and Warwick.
The success of the school’s sixth formers certainly reflects their hard work and fortitude over the last two years but is also indicative of the school’s determination to truly know every student, so that they can flourish academically and develop into well-rounded individuals.
A dedicated sixth form centre provides students with a focused and independent learning environment. Here, specialist staff encourage each student’s academic ambitions, whilst at the same time supporting their personal development and wellbeing.
The school’s carefully designed ‘future success’ programme compliments students’ academic studies. This bespoke offer provides all students with a prestigious work experience programme, seminars led by industry leaders and financial and communication seminars. Highbury Fields sixth formers therefore leave school with excellent qualifications, but also the softer skills necessary to navigate both university and the world of work.
